This Dencom Global Address Book is an application that allows all users access a shared central database for contact data from within an Microsoft Outlook email client, or an email client that supports Extended MAPI.

The Application consists of 3 parts

1. Administration Utility: allows the administrator user to create and manage the central database or databases.

2. Dencom Global Address Book Client : allows Outlook or any email client that support Extended MAPI to access to the database file or the ?.GAB.XML file, so the Contact details are available within the Email Client as an address book.

Now supports a zipped version of the .GAB.XML file
And Remote Download via a Web Server.

3. Dencom Address Book Connect: this is an Outlook addin which you can synchronize the Database content with a Microsoft Outlook Contacts folder. Great for Remote users.

Application Requirements:
These applications are designed for use on Microsoft Windows 9.x / NT / 2000 / 2003 and XP Operating Systems.

• Administration Utility: requires Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 to be installed.
• The Dencom Global Address Book Client: requires an Email client that supports Extended MAPI like Outlook 97/98/2000 in Corporate/WorkGroup mode, Outlook XP and Outlook 2003.
• Dencom Address Book Connect: requires Outlook 2000 or greater and Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 to be installed.

• There is no requirement for Microsoft Exchange Server.
• Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 is not included with the software.
  But can be downloaded from the Microsoft Web Site, or there is a copy on our Web Site on the download page.
