Outlook 98 /2000 – I have no Services Tab – only Accounts Tab
When you installed Outlook 98 there were 3 selections
Internet Only
Corporate / WorkGroup
No EmailFor the Extended MAPI services to be installed you must select the second option Corporate / WorkGroup.
To install the Corporate / Workgroup option
- From within Outlook, Select Tools and Options.
- Select the tab Mail Services
- Select the button Reconfigure Mail Support
- Select the radio buttion option Corporate/WorkGroup
- Then select the Next button
- Continue the installation as directed.
Else
- Go to Control Panel, and run Add/Remove Programs.
- From the list at the bottom of the Install/Uninstall tab, choose Microsoft Outlook 98 then click Add/Remove.
- On the Outlook 98 Active Setup/Maintenance Wizard dialog box, click Add New Components.
- On the Add New Components dialog box, choose whether to install from CD (once you get one) or Microsoft’s web site.
- Choose the components you want to install and follow the instructions given.

Disable the Banner – Dencom Global Address Book Client
Making sure that you have version 2.2.2 or greater of the Dencom Global Address Book MAPI Service DLL.
i.e. The ‘dnzgab32.dll’Create or edit the file named ‘DNZGAB.INI’ in the windows directory with the following lines

Add Microsoft Mail Postoffice Address to the Address Book

As the Dencom Global Address Book Client is MAPI based, you can access this database through varies means, the most common, request is adding mailing addresses to Word.
To do this simple create an Autotext named AddressLayout in Word and add your required PR Records. Then using the Address Book button in Word, select the required Address from the Address Book.Sample:
Company name = <PR_COMPANY_NAME>¶
Street Address = <PR_STREET_ADDRESS>¶
Location = <PR_LOCALITY>
State = <PR_STATE_OR_PROVINCE>
PostCode = <PR_POSTAL_CODE>

To resolve this simply edit the DNZGABDB.INI and edit the line DBNAME= and point this to the .mdb file (default name DNZGABDB.MDB).
